If we all really believed in fate, there is little point in doing anything or trying to change our lives for the better. We might as well just sit back and let fate get on with it.

Yes, however I also believe that we help to make our own fate by our decisions. If we choose to do nothing then we will get nothing.

Yes, and it has taught me to appreciate life, and that things are not always what they seem. I recall applying for a job, and being so supset about not getting it. Recently, i passed by where I could have been working, and that company is no longer there. I had I got that job, I wouldn't have had it for long. Fate had me set to get a job, and I still have one, thanks to fate!

yes i do believe in fate if that's any use to you, after all our lives are planned in advancements before we are born so nobody can alter our path to doom or enlightenment only god, be happy and be helpful after all life is how u make it and being positive is one way of looking at it, and stop thinking or wishing despair on others or yourselves.

There ARE things you CAN control and influence, but there ARE things you can do bugger-all about. If you happen to be in the "wrong" place at the "wrong" time it can just be "tough luck!"
BUT I do NOT believe the woe-is-me, victim mentality.
There ARE always choices to be made, what ever the situation or circumstance you find yourself in.
