I own an old vase that is antique and belonged to president John Quincy Adams, who my husband's great-grandmother cleaned house for back in the early 1800's and he gave her that vase one day as a gift...
It even has the numbers on the bottom from the artist of how many were made and what number we have and we have number 3 out of 1500...
So that's very cool and it is a beautiful vase that we keep in our lighted dining cabinet and it is orange and white with a dragon on the handles...

Yeah, as long as you are responsible and can take care of it I definitely think a dog would be fine for a 15 year old. My absolute number 1 recommendation for a small dog is a miniature dachshund aka a wiener doggie haha. They are the sweetest things (they can be stubborn though so train yours well). I had one for 8 years, she just died a couple months ago :( but I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Some other choices for cute small dogs are: 1. Pug-very cute; small; don't take much exercise. They can have breathing problems and overheat easily. 2. American Eskimo Dog- They come in small, mini and standard sizes; completely and totally adorable, playful; If they have problems it is usually hip problems just make sure you buy from a good breeder. 3. Coton de Tulear- Small dogs, usually white with some pattern; very attached to owner 4. Maltese- don't know much about these, but they are cute! 5. Miniature PInscher 6. Mini Poodle 7. Papillon- along with those adorable ears they are among the top ten of the world's most intelligent dogs. 8. Pocket Beagle 9. Pomeranian 10. Yorkie There are many more types of small breeds that are purebred. If you want to adopt from a shelter there are also a lot of super cute mixed breed dogs that would be just as good of a pet.

I have some fossils and a really cool rock that I found, which is, by nature, perfectly smooth and round like an egg. It's always been mysterious to me. The fossils and the rock have to be millions of years old.
