that's a false rumor.i know that for a fact. manning isnt known for his arm. on top of that, it's impossible cause his passes are usually wobbling, which is darn near impossible to throw even close to 100 yards. manning is known for his intelligence. he manages the game and reads defenses like a book. he is also a very accurate passer.
qb's in history known for throwing deep are randall cunningham, brett favre, john elway, and now jamarcuss russell.
