I personally think they believe it because it goes against their beliefs and they think people who don't agree with them are stupid. It's definitely better than almost all the other shitty *** shows on television like The Office, Family Guy and many more pieces of craps. It's much more well thought out and hard worked on but maybe they just don't understand it or they just don't agree with and therefore think that it's a bad show. Also what the heck is wrong with swearing (people actually think that show is stupid because it has swearing) we can just so randomly choose a word and say that's bad it's simply thought as bad because they originated from slang words seeming unprofessional that evolved into them being bad words it just makes me so mad!

i agree 100%!!! my parents are always ripping on south park and saying it's a bad show even though they've never acctually seen an episode, just parts that they saw when i was watching it. i tried to explain that cursing isn't bad, that swear words are only bad cause people say they are, but they say that it's "uncoof" i mean WHAT THE ****!!!! south park is the best thing that's happened to this world and if someone does something to screw it up so help me god i will rip their balls off with my bare hands! with my bare hand goddamn them!! (sorry, i get carried awaysometimes)lol

I do not backup you. This TV show discriminates, swears and the most gross thing ever. Why the plots have to go around something discriminative or with mature themes. Look at The Simpsons, they have family lessons and society lessons, and they still have a good show.
