I have made a wifi hotspot but I am in between two hills.
is there any way I can shoot a signal over the hill to the people?
will the omni antenna help any?

Radio signals tend to be line of sight (straight line). Omni-direction antenna broadcast the signal in multiple (omni) directions but always in a straight line. There is no curved radio signal. With some radios (short wave, CB, etc.) you can skip off the atmosphere but your radio doesn't have that kind of power. No way to make this happen with one radio. If you want to get crazy (and expensive) you can look into mesh networking or another radio/receiver nearer the top of the hill.

Put a Repeater (second router) up on the hilltop.
