Tahnks for remembering. I live 50 mins. north of NYC, and there were about 350 people in Orange County, NY that were affected.

My wife lost her cousin. (Whom I have known for 22 years!) Lynn worked on the 101st floor of the 1st tower that was hit. We were lucky enough to have them find her remains. Many families are dtillin limbo.

Thanks for remembering, and keeping their spirits alive!

No one knows why things happen the way they do. The day starts out like every other day, and then something happens that shocks us to our very core, brings us to our knees. Some people cry and scream and run away to hide.
But others stand their ground in the face of the devastation.
To all of you who stood your ground, helped those around you, dug in when you knew it was hopeless, I stand in awe of you. No one ever tells us when we have to be brave, and when we will be called upon to do the impossible.
You all are burned into my memory forever as an example of doing the right thing , a true hero, an unsung hero for the times. Bless you all.
