boyfriend problems.?

So, ive been wanting to end it with him for a while. We have been dating for 6 months and i feel its getting to serious. I know people are going to say "just tell him the truth" but this will devastate him. I need a good way to end and and a good excuse. Please help, and give good answers.

The people that told you to tell him the truth are CORRECT!
Just tell him you feel like the relationship is moving to fast and it is scaring you and you need some time to work out your feelings. Tell him it has nothing to do with him.
