For fear that something will grab it in the dark?

If I even THINK so much as a fingernail is hanging over the edge I will awaken from a dead sleep. When I was a kid I couldn't straighten out my legs for fear of Count Chocula and Frankenberry waiting at the end of my bed to eat my toes...now anything that hangs over the edge is fair game!

Yes! I'm a grown woman, mother of two grown children and I'm still afraid to let a limb hang over the bed for fear that something will grab it! I KNOW it's irrational but I can't get it out of my psyche! Maybe it's from seeing too many scary movies with that sort of thing in it when we were children ourselves. Here's one even stupider...after seeing the movie "Jaws" in the theater when I was a kid, I was afraid to let my arm or leg hang over the bed for fear that a SHARK would bite it! Now that's silly! The things we do! Lol!

Yes. I am and always have been afraid the Mummy will come and grab me and drag me away and kill me bad.
