yes there are few scattered out few and far between, but there are definetley a few still left. I saw "Transformers" and "Live Free of Die Hard" in a double feature at a drive-in theater in Indiana for like $8 a person this summer. It was great, a truly nostalgic experience. I do wish there were more drive-ins in the US.

Yes. In some places of colder clime, the the drive-ins will close after Labor Day and will reopen in the Spring. As others noted, the numbers are diminishing. To supplement their income, some drive-ins have begun to charge a fee to theater goers if they bring their own food.

Few and far between. The "new" drive-in are these cool inflatable screens that are being used by cities, etc. in their community service programs. Sometimes they do it with BYOC, sometimes as a drive-in. Not the same as the old days, but it brings back memories.

ive seen more then a few here and there around the country...
biggest one i know of is in salt lake city..
they have 4 or 5 screens on 15 acres together and its used as a flea market when it closes as a drive in
