David Letterman's show never fails to entertain. I'm delighted when I can stay awake and watch it!
Lily Tomlin. I've seen her live 3x and she is indescribably great!
Bob Newhart. It doesn't get any better.
Billy Crystal. We saw his live show last year and were wowed.
Bill Cosby's "Chickenheart" sketch is still quoted by my husband and I, although I haven't heard it in years.
Johnny Carson. Some of the old stuff holds out, some doesn't, but he kept America awake for so many years and he did it so well.
Ellen Degeneres. Some of the stuff she does just knocks me out.
Many others, but those stand out.
I can't believe I forgot to include Tracy Ullman! Her show introduced the world to the Simpsons all those years ago! I think she has a TV series project going for 2008!
