Well don't get a long one. Cause people will step on it and that gets really annoying. Get a short one. Get one that fits to your body. Nothing to tight. One that you can breath and of course dance in. Get one that fits your personality. If your a fun personality then get a fun dress with fun colors like bright colors.
Hope this helps.

You are a size 8 how can you not fine a pretty dress? Depending on your buget JCPenny has really cute dresses. If you want an expencive dress order out of a cataloge some only make the dress one so you will be the olny one wearing it. Of you can go to a store and have it custom made.

Trust me I can help you but how much do you want to spend. If you have a lot to spend go to the local bridat shop. This is where I get my dresses, I told them this past April I needed a HOT Red dress for an event and they ordered me a HOT dress and people are still talking about it. If you don't have a lot to spend go to Macy's. Let me know

Well if you have brown hair and stuff or brown eyes try a green dress a very simple kind if it's blonde then try a pink or coral. Think of what your favorite color is and find a dress that looks great go with your friends and family let them help you choose. I am 13 but I have a coral dress that looks great with me. I have a thin body so i should be able to wear it in high school.

If you are shopping online, then here are some dress ideas:

But I would suggest going to a mall. Nothing beats being able to try on the dress and see what it looks like on you!
