There seems to be a wide-spread epidemic of teens who are brainwashed into thinking that suicide is something to think about, they just don't have any clue as to the reality of it.
I've known a few failed attempts. Its scary to think that they have such little fore-thought.
So you are unhappy? SO WHAT??! as REM said "everybody hurts sometimes" you just gotta work out how you are going to sort things out rather than focus on the problem. Just coz the teen years are s**t doesn't mean the other 60 years you spend on this planet are going to be.

it all comes down to the wannabes! real chavs and emos r just that way naturally and if they happen 2 b depressed or cut thats just the way it is. however posers and wanabes of these groups r the ones to worry about. they r foolish enough to think that if they act like the sterio type of these groups then they will be acepted.
however most wannabe chavs usually 'take out their emotions' on others rather than themselves by bullying and beating them 4 no aparent reason.

Was talking to someone about this today. Does it feel like depression/suicide etc.. is becoming trendy? I'm not saying everyone who self harms or attempts suicide is just trying to be cool but I see kids going round saying they have depression and it amazes me. When I was a teenager I was never depressed (I'm 26).

They just want attention. As for the "emo look" it's just a trend they sell at the mall.

interesting question - hard to say..... maybe certain types of people are attracted to emo due to their pre-disposition to depressive moods or feelings.... or maybe they acquire it as part of the emo culture.

alot emos are crazy they think killing their self is self comforting whoa!!
