1) Originally from Krypton, moved to Smallville as a tot. Then headed to the big city of Metropolis, where he works For the Daily Planet in the news/information field. Also, he has a retreat in the Fortress of Solitude (located in the Arctic, though more recent versions of the Superman comics have placed the Fortress in other locations, including the Antarctic, the Andes and the Amazon rainforest)
2) Batman lives in the vicinity of Gotham City at Wayne Manor and the Batcave below.
3) Kara Zor-El is the last survivor of Argo City of the planet Krypton - but this may be a trick question as after the post-Crisis reboot of Superman continuity in the late 1980s, Supergirl's origin was completely rewritten. No longer is she Superman's cousin, or even Kryptonian. Then the history was revamped again in 1996 and she was described as an "Earth-Born Angel."

9) Richard Kiel (famed as 'Jaws' in the James Bond movies) was hired for the role and production commenced on the pilot movie. However, during filming, it was pointed out that Kiel's tall but non-muscular physique (due to his excess bodyfat) did not resemble the build of the comic book Hulk. The Hulk had to be believable, strong, and scary. Soon, Kiel was dropped and bodybuilder Lou Ferrigno replaced him.
10) Removes superpowers from Kryptonians permanently; however, in one story, a temporary antidote was developed that negated this effect for a short period of time. Gold Kryptonite apparently has an effective range of two feet. In the mainstream post-Crisis DC universe, it appears that instead of removing Kryptonian super-powers permanently it causes cellular degeneration and once caused Superman to age at an accelerated rate; however, it is not confirmed if this is true of all Gold Kryptonite because this version was presumably created by the time traveller Gog. Recently, Lex Luthor has stated that Gold Kryptonite like its previous pre-crisis version can permanently rob Superman of his powers stating that it completely destroys the ability for Superman's cells to process solar energy.
