Geez, yeah. Some of the smartest girls I know are just not into boys yet. They have lives, other thoughts! But tv and movies and peers make us think we should start worrying about having a dating life before we are old enough to even date.

I never fancied anyone until I was around 15-16 then I fancied an American Gymnast... I cant remember what its called, but its like when a girl thinks she gonna marry ronan keeting...
Dont worry, not everyone thinks about that kind of thing right away...
I never dated till I was 17!

it is possible and good for you for not feeling like you have to be with someone just because everyone else is. your value does not lie in whether or not you have a boy/girlfriend- you are not planning on getting married anytime soon and you have a whole lot of time ahead of you to find someone to fancy :)
Focus on your education, be a good friend and wait until you are emotionally mature enough to know what to do with a relationship and how to manage one before you wind up having and giving a lot of emotional burdens that you will regret later in life.
Be 14 - it only happens once!

Fourteen is kind of young to be thinking about dating and liking other people anyways so don't feel like there is anything wrong with you cuz you aren't interested in anyone. You have plenty of years ahead of you to get involved in a relationship and all that. Just have fun and enjoy your youth. Don't spend too much time worrying about what others are doing or thinking about. Just be yourself.
