i'm being sentence as an adult for arm roberry. im getin 5-8 years. what can i do to not become sum1 prison wife and not hav my manhood stolen. please need help.

I only know as a woman. I had a 8 wk vacation waiting for a public defender. A year on supervisory release for a dismissal. Sorry your life brought you there.
Stay by yourself but make quiet friends. Stay out of other issues. Work it makes the time pass. Get some meds to help you sleep, I got paxil & ibuprophen's. Money on your books. Cigarettes are gold, candy is money. You will find someone will have a store. Beware. Some have guards that supply outside stuff & kite mail etc. Get a lower bunk. Read alot, get stamps and phone cards if you can. Find out what your family can give you. Showers are problem areas, out of guards sights. Stand your ground but don't hit. Rat someone out they say is bad. I was not afraid after I got beaten up but they tried and finally I was taken to another place. With life time ladies. All my info came over and they nearly had a riot. Some protect you some will fight you. If you can pay off some help it is beneficial in the beginning.
WORK! Keep your nose clean.NO write ups because there are good guards as well as many bad. It helps in a pinch. Find out your rights to address problems. Go to AA meetings & church anything as a diversion to the daily routine. Pray.
Hopefully due to over crowding you get released early. NO one can steal your manhood. You have to find out how to make the system work for you. Depends on your own morality. Take care. God bless. PS Don't repeat the performance please. It stinks and not an experience I recommend. Aloha.

In many American prisons, you would be treated just as the rest of us will be treated after we lose our country because of super-liberal Congress-folks.
Remember the kind of life the Iraqi people had under their last Super Supreme Saddam? That's what life in some prisons is like.
The best way to handle that kind of life is don't get sentenced.

You will be fingerprinted, and put in a cell with 1 or possibly 2 other guys..... just sleep with one eye open. Wear lots of clothes. Don't use any "eye contact" with anybody....after a while they'll think your "Crazy" and just leave ya alone.

Work out as much as possible, build muscles. Keep to yourself, mind your own business, never inform on anyone. Watch what you eat as much as you have a choice. Read, learn, and do anything to better yourself.
At least, that's what I hear.
Oh, and never, never, never, never borrow from anyone or accept any favors.

You'll have to join a prison gang. Hopefully they don't "turn you out" themselves. You should start working out or something so you can at least try to defend yourself. Good luck.
