Who do you guys think is better to play Peter Parker/Spiderman?

Joseph Gordan Levitt or Jake Gyllenhall. I have heard from many sources online that Joseph Gordan Levitt is the top choice right now being considered for the role for spiderman 4, if Maguire doesnt return.

I say Joseph Gordan Levitt, although I never would have said thought of that myself. I know Jake Gyllenhall was supposed to take Tobey Maguire's place if he hadnt returned for Spiderman 2 and 3, but now I feel he may be getting too old and his roles have gotten much more mature in the past few years so I am not sure he would take the role now. I think Levitt is an amzing actor and on the verge of breaking out and being huge and Spiderman 4 could do it for him. I am still holing out for the whole cast and crew to return for the 4th, but I would like to see Levitt if he doesnt.

I wouldn't see the movie with either.... Toby Maguire OWNS the role, and I don't think should be replaced.

A series that switches lead characters is doomed... look at Batman and the Tom Clancy-based movies.
