how do i log on to my Router's Web-based Utility? i need step by step directions thanks.

goto start---run...type cmd and press enter. In the black box type ipconfig/all

It will list Ip adress es and numbers. Your router IP will be the one labeled default gateway.

Open a browser window and type in that address. It will then prompt you for a username and password. Enter your routers username and password an wallah!

depends on router
u can do 192.168.1.254
but first go start, run, type ipconfig
find the ip address of router or gateway
if behind proxy add to exemption list in interent options
input the ip in url area
and voila u got it

1. in the web address of a browser, type 192.168.1.1
2. enter username and password (default is usually admin/admin or admin/password)
