I don't mind having a space shuttle trip around the earth's atmosphere though, you know just like a ship's cruise in international waters.

I am a sci-fi fan, but I have to be honest and say no, not at the current stage of technological development. I just wouldn't feel safe enough.

If it was a simple matter of 24th century technology as pictured in Star Trek, Crusade, or even Babylon 5, yes, count me in, but that's the realm of the imagination.
