i'm researching for a project in english and we had to research our birthday. well i was searching in this one book and it said that my central image is the empath. if you don't mind me asking, what the heck is that!?

Empathy is one's ability to recognize, perceive and directly feel the emotion of another person.

An empathic individual is someone who can strongly relate to someone else's emotional state. Sympathize and comfort them when in pain and rejoice with them when they're happy. In a mystical sense this goes beyond simply relating and crosses over into actually feeling the other person's emotions as if they were your own.

It's not just emotional or intellectual feeling but sometimes being able to sense another person's pain on a physical level. Example: someone who experiences sympathy pain during their partner's labor.

As I understand it it is a person who takes on the sick or those in need unto her/his self and heals them through there bodies
