they're old sufficient to bear in ideas the final run on a financial company, i think of it replaced into BCCI which went bust and thousands of savers lost particularly some funds. in case you think which you're ok leaving your fee reductions there you're a mug. you're assured a hundred% of the 1st £2,000 and ninety% of the subsequent £33,000 by way of the government. of course if Northern Rock is going bankrupt (a important possibility) you would be inquiring to your funds back, alongside with hundreds of thousands of different savers. you will no longer see a penny for months (or in all probability over a 300 and sixty 5 days) and could lose the activity you've got gained in case you may transferred your funds on Monday. the fee you will pay is probably some tenths of a % in activity. What fee is peace of ideas?

Yes, I queued for 4 hours and when I got to the counter I realised that I did not have an account with them. But it seemed a good idea at the time yet no reporter picked me out. May try next week again. Hope they will give out cups of coffee.

The Bank of England guaranteed them, but still, idiots are idiots. Let them queue if they have nothing else to do.
