Basically, if this is someone your parents have over to their home the only thing you can do about it is not be there at that time. You won't be able to just stop thinking about it, but maybe you can do something constructive with your time and that energy, like write a poem or get involved with after school activities (theater and choir kept me out of my house a LOT).

It sucks, I know! I had an abusive babysitter that was a friend of my parents, and I was in my 30's before I finally convinced my mother that I didn't want to even hear about this person any more. Yep, I told them. They didn't believe me, and apparently thought that keeping me updated would make me change my mind about my intense dislike for her, or perhaps erase my memory of the abuse.

When I read this question it makes me wonder if the person you do not like has done something to you that is against the law. If so and you dont want to tell your family and you are underage find a number for SCAN and report it to them. Whether its a distant relative.... abuse is abuse and they can handle it.

it would help if you were more specific about your problem but hey let me see what i can sum up with what you did ask. talk to your parents that this person makes you feel uncomfortable & that should do it but sometimes parents just think children are being paranoid. how you do you stop thinking about it? well do something time consuming like hang out with friends when that person comes over or join some center around your community or get a job or something that takes you away from this "person"...hope that helps. & good luck with it all =]
