If you have a 100+ gallon tank, sure! Clowns get about a foot long and need to be kept in shoals of 5+... If you get 5 Clowns, 10 Guppies (all male to prevent babies), 21 Neon Tetras, a few Platies, and a few Swordtails, a 125 gallon tank would be necessary though... If you are looking for some Loaches for a 30 gallon tank, take a peak at Yo-yo Loaches (about 5 inches). They act very similarly to Clowns and are very active. In a 20 gallon tank, I would look at Dwarf Chain Loaches (3 inches) and they act very similarly to the Clowns as well. If you have less than a 20 gallon tank, you don't have room for any more fish. Email me with your tank size.

Yes. I have two clown loaches with my green cory catfish, platys, and algae eater. Make sure you get at least two though because they need to be in pairs.

They are very large as adults, how big is your tank?
They also are recommended in groups of 5, they are very social fish and need their own kind to thrive,
