I like it, I remember I think it was there breakthrough hit , got to number one in the UK.
I remember the video, I did think they look, not very good in that denim, & being outside the corner shop (not many of them about now), made me think of 'Open All Hours' ?

I was born in 1969, so only a kid too.
I did think they was from Birmingham, had to look it up, lucky for me, my memory was right this time.
I also like The Specials & Fun Boy Three from the same city.( my spelling is so bad, I had to look up them, silly me).

I know this isn`t going to get me any points but i`ve got to be honest... I can`t bear it!
Not because the song itself is bad but because every unimaginative DJ at every party i have been to has felt the need to play it and i don`t think i can bear to ever listen to it again for the rest of my life.

wow every time i hear this song it brings me right back.

i was 10 years old and leaving junior school ready for secondary and we were all having a leaving party and i distinctly remember dancing with my friends to this song , one who so happened to be called Eileen and us all singing it to her lol!!!!!
