I just moved into the area about a week ago, and any advice you could give me would help out a lot.

Welcome to AZ! I am sure you will find that it is a nice place to live. I don't know what age bracket you are in, but there are plenty of things to do regardless. If you are into clubs/bars, Mill Avenue is the place to be. There are several places to go like the above comment said. If you are into the outdoors, (you may want to wait til it cools off a bit) but there are wonderful hiking trails all around and not too far out of the way. There are plenty of malls, AZ Mills, Fiesta Mall, Chandler Fashion Square, Scottsdale Fashion Square. If you are out in Scottsdale, I would definitely hit up Old Town (Start on Scottsdale Rd. and Indian School and scoot south.) Good luck to you~!

Mill Ave is cool but most people hang out in clicks. If you are going to ASU I recommend joining a club and going from there. Whatever you are interested in there is probably a club for.

It all depends on what kind of people you like to meet. If you want to meet immature drunk college kids, go to Mill Ave. If you want to meet Gang Members try just East of the 101 freeway and Apache Blvd. If you want to meet pretty boy Douche bags, stuck-up people and Gays, go to Scottsdale. If you want to meet smart people, I'm sure you can find a library.

Mill Ave. is the place to hang out! lots to see down there,food is good, music too!
movies, life is fun.....6pm.till 10 pm. like whole different world...
