Organize as in storage or like in a closet? When I was in college I had little money. I would use cheap plastic hangers (still do) and hang all my pants on the hangers and then put the shirts over them on the same hanger. I'd put all casual things together and all work/professional clothes together. Use the hangers that have a bar across the bottom. If you have slacks that you want to avoid creasing on the hanger, get some newspaper and wrap it around the horizontal bar. That's the same thing we did in the army as we had a lack of space and you grab one hanger and you have that days clothes already together.

First of all get rid of any and all things that you haven't worn in a year. The easiest way to organize is to put your suits, blouses, pants, tops etc together and by color. If you have limited closet space buy the drop bars that hold 6 pairs of pants or shirts in one space. Plastic drawer boxes can hold loose things like t-shirts and shorts. Shoes are usually a problem and there are many choices depending on your space. There are wood and wire risers as well as over the door options. Sort through the shoes and also get rid of worn and outdated pairs and also anything you no longer wear. Put up hooks where you can for robes or other clothing items that you quick grab.
