I start at the scooter store headquarters on monday and was told that i was supposed to be dressed business casual. What does that mean?

You don't need to wear a suit and tie, but can't turn up in jeans, trainers and teeshirt. Something in between is fine - shirt, or polo shirt, trousers and proper shoes.

Nice slacks or skirt, no bluejeans, rips, or micro-minis.
Top that covers. No cleavage or bare midriff.
No big, clunky sneakers, nor flip-flops.
If you have tatoos, cover them.
If you have facial piercings, make them as unobtrusive as possible.
