Yes it is rude, stupid, and unnecessary. When someone makes fun of you for this reason; let me ask you how do you feel? I ignore rudeness like that because if the person is that stupid they aren't worth my time to worry about it.

well it depends on who you like. if you like stupid people who do things that are illegal or do bad things, you should be made fun of. if you like a nerdy guy, nobody should be making fun of you. but it dosent take yahoo answers to know that people are ***** and they will always look for somebody to be mean/crule to. just do what you think is right, and you will be fine.

It is very rude but I do it. I am sorry. Sometime it is funny. when I see certain people matched up, I get a laugh from it.

Grown ups do it too, sadly enough. I think as long as you are a personal friend of whom you are joking with and as long as they know you are joking, it's okay. Otherwise, yes, it's rude.

they are just bored and being silly it doesn't mean anything it just plays on sensitive feelings,try to ignore such things and have the fun that they secretly wish they had, just not too much fun if you know what i mean.
