I have to agree with some of the other posters, there's little if any diffrence, other than transmission cooler lines that may go to the radiator or near it.
People sometimes think that manual transmissions are more sporty. So, that may mean that one the same make/model car you could have two different engines because one's a manual and higher performance. In that case, a different engine might require a different radiator.

some people should not be in these forums. the difference is that most base to mid model cars have a small tank in the bottom or side of the radiator that the ATF flows through. the tank is immersed in coolant ( after it has been cooled by the fan), cooling the ATF. Since a manual transmission in a car doesnt generally require a cooler, manufacturers omit the tank in the radiator. So you can put a radiator with the cooler in a car with a manual transmission, but not the other way around, unless you install a secondary cooler. good luck

The Radiator in a Manual car doesn't have a transmission cooler built in to it. On the automatic cars, there are cooler lines that go from the transmission to the radiator. The transmission fluid passes though a brass tank inside the radiator and cools off the fluid before returning it to the transmission.
You can use a radiator from a automatic transmission car in a stick shift car, but not the other way around.

Manual radiators are often slightly smaller, since the engine doesn't have to work as hard to operate the gearbox. Also, some cars incorporate a transmission oil cooler into the bottom tank of the radiator - you can tell by looking for 2 metal oil lines rinning to the bottom part of the radiator (radiators for manual gearboxes only have the 2 main coolant hoses and the pipe for the overflow/expansion bottle.

There is a difference. Generally speaking, the radiator in an automatic will have a built in cooler for the transmission fluid, while most manual trans cars do not have the built in cooler.
