Do they believe the rest of us
( Conservatives, Independents, Libertarians, etc. ) are not smart enough to recognize cowardly B.S. when we hear it?
Have they learned nothing from our experience with the "flower children" during the Vietnam war, and the " cut and run " advice they offered?
How many times must they repeat this sneaky retreat?

$ANDMAN:--How can you possibly believe they were right? Even they know they were wrong.---Have you never seen the "Kiling Fields". They( led by Jane Fonda ) were responsible for the slaughter of milions of people.
Did you see the Joy of all those people when the Berlin wall came down?
Do you realize that people like you did nothing to help us defeat Comunism?

Do you plan to be AWOL every time your country needs you?
Will you sit back and watch our children, women, and elderly face the terorists, while you harass them from the sidelines for being "war mongers"?

History may show that we probably couldn't win in Nam, but it also shows how cowardly we were for abandoning those poor devils who were fighting against Comunism.
We were trying to retain the Comunists in Nam, not defeat them.---We managed to do just that in Korea.

It's really a shame that these Hippie-replacements, who have done so little to help us, should be able to enjoy the benefits of defeating Communism.
Now they're looking for another free ride,---but hasn't that free-ride- mentality always been part of their nature?
They have always asked for more welfare, and then ran to get in line to collect some.

That's a pretty astute observation that liberals have switched from less government to more being the answer. I think part of it is the perception that those 60's and 70's liberals are in office now and can be appealed to. Also maybe the realization that you have to work within the framework because going outside of it doesn't work either. For better or worse, we're bound to the nation we live in and trying to completely withdraw causes a lot of problems. The "communes" didn't work too well !!!

Liberals arent offering anything other than sweeping the whole thing under the rug and trying to convince everyone that it never happened.
Nevermind Saddam being dead. We'll build new towers, dont worry. Bush is gone, Osama, coast clear. B Spears wasnt in her underwear, does she still need to convert to Islam? America will soon be one big happy Continent...or two, Im not sure where we'll stop, but the Panama Canal would be nice to have back...
Since pot is worse than smoking cigs tho, Im not sure how they will share that portion of their experiences with the rest of us...

Cut and run? Most Americans who are eligible to serve have opted not to serve in the armed forces. Therefore, I think if you want to label someone as cowardly, you would have to do so to the general population. Sure, it's easy to be in favor of a war but not actually fight. It seems like the BS is coming from the other side, don't ya think?
By the way, the majority of Americans are against this war. Oh, those darn hippies!
And to those of you who think the media is providing distorted coverage of the war, you should have said that back when they were helping the administration make the case for war by covering up the lies regarding WMD

A last hurrah, perhaps. They did their thing in the sixties. Then, when they grew up a little, they infiltrated the media, educational institutions, government, courts... and have spent their working lives there ever since.
But, demographically, they are getting a little long in the tooth and will be drifting off the stage in the next 10 to 20 years. Kind of like a bad burrito you ate and you just have to wait for it to pass all the way through.

Peace, love and rock and roll. Sucks huh?
Give it up already with the Libs forcing some kind of sense into the rest of you. Theres nothing cowardly about asking for a war to be engaged in with intelligence and planning. As far as the "Cut and Run" BS, its just that, BS. In both wars we had poor planning, execution and blurry objectives. That's no way to run a war. Both wars seem to have gone on forever, draining us, and pitting the country against itself.
This war was given to us with lies and deceit. Its drained the treasury and cost us almost four thousand troops. Its diminished our standing in the world and caused other countries to lose confidence in our ability to make sound decisions with intelligent follow up.
Its not the hippies, its the grown ups who are saying that its past time we left and let them go about their civil war without us.

I hear you exactly! Butchered media coverage, backed by misinformed and politically correct liberals and deep-pocketed democrats is a modern reinactment of the fiasco known to be the Vietnam War. I am glad there are people left with a head on their shoulders (or at least one that's screwed on right).

It's ironic that the stoners knew Iraq had no WMD and would be a deadly, expensive quagmire long before the rest of the nation, don't you think?
Maybe it's because they sit around pondering and debating those things while the "sober" people just listen to the lying politicians and believe every word they say.

What flavor of ignorance-inducing Kool-Aide are you drinking?
I have had friends die in both the Viet Nam and Iraq wars.
Be brave, oh Keyboard Kommando.
If you need a limo ride to the military recruiter, I pay for them for each and every Yellow Elephant.
My nephew is a retired Army Sgt. He says of people with your views "Sign up or shut up".
So, which is it?
Cut and run is exactly what our president did when called to serve in Viet Nam. He hid in the TX ANG's "Champagne Division", the place for rich draft dodgers.
I hope someone can explain all of this to you, since you don't seem capable of anything other than repeating what you hear on Faux News.
