The moral issues raised are in the following situations:
The treatment of Jane and those at the Christian institution.
- good example of Jane's strength in the face of unfairness.
-discuss the Christian institution's morality.

Rochester's choice to lock up his wife.
-was this kinder than an institution?
-was it to save face/expense?
- at what point he decided to lock her up is not discussed, could he have partially caused her savage behaviour? we have only his word in the book?

Rochester's decision to look after Adele.
- he pays for tuition and keeps her in his home even though unsure she is his.
-he is rarely there. Before Jane's arrival, would she have been better placed with a loving family for her self respect and esteem?
Does Rochester feel a moral obligation? Does he gain any self-esteem or sense of family from her prescence?

HIs wife's families' choice not to tell him of the history of insanity in the family.
-was this morally wrong when her insanity was not obvious at this point?

Jane's decision to return to her dying aunt despite her mistreatment of Jane.
- she owed her aunt nothing but did her Christian duty.

Rocester's choice to try to marry Jane.
-was this immoral considering his wife's murderous, insane condition or simply illegal.

His wife's brother's decision to intervene.
-what were his motives?

Jane's choice to leave.
- legal
-unwillingness to be a mistress for moral reasons or for self-respect?

Jane's choice to turn down her cousin's offer of marriage and life as a missionary.
-was it love that made her decision? passion?
-would it have been a morally right decision to help her cousin despite her feelings for Rocester? Her Christian duty?

Rochester's decision to try to save his wife in the fire.
Jane's decision to return.
-if she had returned to the same situation she had left, what would she have done?
As a result of Rocester's decision to save his wife and Jane's decision to return, the couple had equality, a running theme between them. Rochester was wealthy with social standing but blind and dependant and Jane returned with money and left with the moral highground. Because Rochester was a widower, she could marry him morals and self-esteem intact.

Don't have the book, I'm going by memory so I'll have to leave you to find the relevant chapters for quotes.

You may want to look for a brief overview of morality. Situation ethics bases it's decisions on the best choice considering the results. It is a modern Christian outlook which says that you should abandon rules when there is a more loving thing to do. Immanuel Kant says there should be hard and fast rules that you should be able to apply. To be moral you have to follow the rules and do your duty (Categorical Imperative). Should be useful when considering whether each decision is a moral one. Wikipedia sums them up.
