415/2= 207.5 so she worked 207 hours 30 minutes.

Divide 415 by 2. This shows how many hours she worked. It's not an even number. So, obviously not. You can already tell just by looking at the 415. It's not an even number.

To find out how many hours Laura worked divide $415 by 2 which is 207.5 hours. this is not an even number.
but the bigger thing your teacher wants you to learn is this:
if you divide an even number by an even number, the answer is always even.
if you divide an odd number by an even number the answer is always odd - or has a remainder.
this is very helpful for test taking - when you have to select answers from multiple choices.

I would say no, if she worked an even number of hours she would have made $414 or $416, she worked 207.5 hours. All you do is Divided $415 by 2.
