Spicy jelly or gum drop for me. When you speak about eating two pounds of candy corn it reminded me of my father. He loved black jelly beans and when the local candy store sold them around Easter time, he bought 2 pounds at a time every week while they were available and except for a very few ate them all. Enjoy the candy corn

Candy corn is a hazard to me! I can be careful of what I eat all year, but when October rolls around, I binge on candy corn. All it is is sugar, but it is so good! It even gives me heartburn, but I can't give it up! This binge thing changes throughout the next three months of holidays.
Lately I have had, has you may know, a dark chocolate binge. I think I'm addicted! People are now starting to bring me dark chocolate bars... which I love, but it does my waistline absolutely no good! Two lbs is all! In the world of dark chocolate, I'm way ahead of you!

Some kinds of candy I like. My favorites are gum drops and
fruity flavored hard candy. I don't care much for chocolate
bars. I always like Life Savers, especially the peppermint
kind and wintergreen. Those little mints they serve in
restaurants are always good. I suppose I like different
kinds of candy, except for the real chewy taffy kind.

I love candy corn, I love peeps, I love Pecan Sandies, I love aything with mocha, and I HATE the KitKat folks for coming out with those fantastic flavors FOR A LIMITED TIME.
Sometime, try the Kellogg's gummy fruit drops. They come in packets of Strawberry, Mixed Fruit or Cherry. That's all I eat anymore when I'm bowling.

My youngest daughter bought me two big bags of Bridge Mix (small chocolates with different centers--I don't know if you get them in the U.S.) on Wednesday. I only remembered them today, and ate a good handful.
Then I wrapped the open end tight and stuck it back in the bag it came in, and tied that tight also and dumped it back under my side table, beside my bed. It will probably sit there for another week or so, before I remember it again, and have another handful.
I also noticed a mini-turtle on my side table, between my lamp and the tissue box that must have been there since Easter. I don't know if it's still edible?....I will eventually find out.

I'm not really a candy person (family had a store and had my fill when I was a child) but when Hallowe'en rolls around I find myself saving the Reeses Peanutbutter cups and hope the kids quit coming and then I pig out! No silly questions here. Love them all.

There used to be a candy called the Big Hunk, it was really chewy and delicious. I hardly ever eat candy, just not much of a sweet tooth:~)

Hershey's Kisses or Hershey's chocolate bars. Then, when I was MUCH younger, there was this young lady (who looked like a young version of her beautiful mother).....Candy Clay....sigh. Missouri's gain, Delaware's loss in 1962.
