This will be a strange year for us Irish. We do have the #1 QB probably starting as a true freshman. There are alot of holes to fill. On the other hand, we have fifth year seniors coming back just to play for and help the team. Talk about a belief in a system. So no, they will not fire Weis.

He signed a 10 year contract in 2005, so i think they may have him around for a few more years. He states he won't leave unless he gets fired or dies.

In a heartbeat, he'll probably get fired just because they suck. I don't think they can win enough games to save his sorry; fat a**. Oh well, maybe Belicheat will hire him back next year.

he is locked into a 10 year contract....so they got to pay him atleast 1 mil/yr so i would say it would take a few bad seasons before they throw the towel in on him.
