Hello, I have heard of something called Eleotin tea which is used to treat diabetes. Does anyone know whether it can be used for hypoglycemia (low blood sugar)?

No. Eleotin is promoted as something to LOWER blood sugar. The advertising assures us that it will not lower them to less than normal so will not CAUSE hypoglycemia. (I looked at several sites but none disclosed the "proprietary formula.")

Here are some herbs known to raise abnormally low blood sugar:Chamomile (German), Dandelion Root, Ginseng and Goldenseal.

Avoid coffee, sugary snacks, alcohol, white flour and simple carbs. Do get plenty of healthy protein (natural, unsweetened peanut butter is excellent) and eat several small meals throughout the day.

Smoking aggravates the condition. Cinnamon and Chromium (125mcg) are good balancers.
