just hang out with your friends and cars on friday nights. you dont need people to back you up. ust make some club stickers on your own and have a blast

Mme and my brother have a car club and we just asked from our local companies

showed them our stats and how many people we got, our website and told them what we could work out.
Its all about presentation and being professional, if you want some sponcors. A decent looking website hels alot too.
Of course mine is under mad construction right now, but you get the point.
The thing is, once you get a decent amount of members, eveyone knows everyone and people can get the hook up places. And know people that know people that will talk to people about a sponcer.

when we started we just contacted the makers of parts we used on our cars. 9 times outta 10... if they are larger companies... they'll send you a club kit.
Locate their website > contact us > phone and call them up.
Always better to talk to an excited Sales Rep. or Public Relations person, than some line manager.

Talk with other car clubs in your area and discuss it with them. They can give you pointers on how to do it.

JUST CHECK AROUND YOUR LOCAL HOMETOWN AND TALK WITH THEM AND MAKE SURE THAT YOU DON'T START UP A CAR CLUB THAT IS ALREADY PRESENT.
