Most of the local clubs are just restaurants that serve drinks. Try Joe's and try not to step on the toes of any locals. The beach is the main stay of the area and it is known for the best surfing beaches in the world. As far as tourist attractions, There is the Polynesian center that is out in the pineapple fields. You will pass it on the way in. The water fall and show at Wiamea park is kind of cool. Make sure to try the shrimp at Giovani's truck. Its kind of a long way out but many consider it to be some of the best Scampi type shrimp in the world. Lots of small bars in Haliewa but you have to plug into the locals and surfers to find the good partys and the reall Surf life. Good luck and have fun.
PS. there used to be a Bar called the Sugar Bar. I heard that it is closed but if it has reopened don't miss it. It is really a total dive. Loved it!

Oh yeah, Go by Pipeline and check out the action. One of the best waves in the world with the best of surfing in the water on any given day. You can't believe how close you are to these monster waves. You can literally feel it through your feet in the sand on a big day. Careful, people get killed here. Pros only. Or stupid people with big balls.

Surf, surf, surf! That is, if you're up to it. Don't EVEN try Wiamea when it is pumpin' unless you know what you're about, or you'll become just another chum-slick statistic that got their brains bashed out in the rocks and coral.
