That's just how they are. I think most of them like white women, that's why. It's a hispanic guy thing. They tend to stare and ogle at every woman and girl they see.

I personally don't find it appropriate, but then again who am I to say anything? (by the way I'm hispanic too and i'm nothing like that, even to the ethnicities/race/whatever I prefer. I show respect).

Now for my issue, I get stared at by middle aged white men (and yes, I'm a guy) and I can't stand that crap. Now THAT"S NASTY! I'd rather get stared at by latinos/mexican workers than nasty 40 something white men. My opinion anyways.

[Your question is a tad misleading; I would suggest you to reformulate it.] I have to disagree with the majority on this one; I would have to say that Colombia is in actuality a more important ally for the U.S.. And here is the argumentation: 1) Reliability and Trust 1.1. In terms of border control / immigration, Mexico grew to have a more reliable and effective border patrol service in the last 10 years. Its federal anti-narcotics organization improved significantly although the police is still plagued corruption which nullifies the general anti-trafficking effort. The Mexican government showed itself to be rather apathetic lately in tackling these problems and itself demands more funds from Washington (which, by the way, decreased from mid-2007). 1.2. Colombia's national crusade against terrorist guerrillas includes war on drug trafficking (after all, they are called the narco-guerrillas...). This ensures a methodical, constant political effort from the Colombian government to suppress these elements. This makes Colombia a far more invested / reliable ally than Mexico. Also, in terms of trust, the actual government of Alvaro Urive proved itself to be the only true liberal, pro-U.S. regime in the zone. The U.S. aid to the zone increased dramatically recently (as an intensification of "Plan Colombia"). Colombia is the 3rd destination of U.S. aid in the world (after Israel and Egypt). Finally, Uribe's administration managed to reduce corruption, minimize the guerrilla's activities and stabilized the economy. 2) Strategic Importance 2.1. The fact that Mexico shares a long common border with the U.S. automatically transforms it in a vital ally for Washington as there are a multitude of correlations to be made (in terms of immigration, environment, security, regional policy, economic cooperation, etc.). Nevertheless, the socio-political developments that took place in Latin America over the past 10 years (animosities in Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia, etc., and intensification of narcotrafficking, political instability...) made Washington focus its attention to the Andean region. Central America has been too quiet... 2.2. Geo-strategically, Colombia is vital for the U.S. . (Pacific-Caribbean Sea, Panama, Andean region, etc.). Washington's recent decision to install Marines in Colombian military bases clearly illustrates this point.

you must like latino guys
because if you stared at men of different races you would see that some of them stare at you too.
You wouldn't have noticed if you weren't checking them out yourself

Well telling how you gave a whole speech about it, and how you keep running into the latinos, I'd say you kind of like the attention. Damn.

Well for you to notice they're staring at you you must be staring at them. Maybe they're yelling the same thing you just said.
