I used to be like that. When I was drunk I think I pretended to be the person people wanted me to be (life and soul of the party etc). Now I rarely drink, but am the same whether drunk or sober. I'm a dad so I needed to grow up a bit

I can play pool really well when drunk, but shockingly poor when im sober. So in that sense I hope the drunk me is the real me. But in every other sense I am a complete mentalist while drunk, and sober is the real you, otherwise youd always be drunk and would drink to get sobre. But I AM a happy mentalist drunk who loves everyone and everything to the extent of inanimate objects (dont. want. to. know)

EDIT: why do people who dont drink answer these type of question? They cant give input and it sounds like they are being elitist and only answering to say (without actually SAYING it) "i dont drink im better than you". Sorry its just annoyed me.

Well if your sober and your a shy person and you get drunk your most likely to be the opposite you get it?
If your a negative person your most likely to be depressive or what ever just depends on the person so yeah in a way I think you can be more one way when your not sober however drinking is wrong!

Sober, I don't believe that the "real you" comes out when you're drunk. I think "the crazy you" does with most people. Can we say coyote ugly?

Well i don't drink but, i've always heard that a person who's drunk always speaks the truth, so maybe that goes for actions too.

I think you're more like your real self when drunk, only your personality is a bit more magnified.

When you're sober your have inhibitions and restraints that keep you from speaking your mind.

I'm more a relaxed person when I'm drunk. Sober, I'm much more reserved.
