Yes!! It is SO annyoying! And the horrible thing is that my mom and sis do it CONSTANTLY! I just give up, when I am with them, and let them talk all they want, but it drives me crazy...

Yes and it shows they're not listening, but thinking of what they're going to say. So many times, it's competing with you. With some people who I have the misfortune of being around, when they interrupt, I just stop talking and they never even notice.

well it doesn't annoy me at all, if some one interrupted me then he is not interested in what i am saying then he doesn't deserve to hear what i have to say so i will just leave him in peace and won't being annoyed.

Yeah, it's really annoying. Happens to me in this country a lot.
And it's also annoying when somebody else takes over your friends when you are talking to them.

ohhhhhhhhhhh my God
it makes me go totally nuts, then i stop talking and let him/her ask me "why don't u continue?"
i reply " after u dear, coz am polite to the extent that i don't interrupt anyone speaking"
so he/she get embarressed and stops ;)

It means she/he is not listening plus not respecting also!!
So when she/he tries to interrupt i ask please let me continue if he continues i just stop then they ask me to continue i refuse but after that if they didn't mean it sure i continue!
