This is an older vehicle that I want to repaint with a very cheap paint job so Im not looking for perfection or even close to it-but I would like to try and pull out or fill in all of the pits from hail / storm damage.
Two ideas I had:

Sand the pits down and fill them with BONDO?

Drill hole in center of pit and try to pop them back out then BONDO the hole?

Any better ideas or suggestions?
Thanks in advance!

Make more dents with a ball pin hammer, paint the car white, a couple of thin lines and will look like a golf ball... Geeee you might start a new trend! Call it Speed Dimples or Tiger Woods Special (if is a Buick) :-))

With the hail damage that i had on a car, you won't have any luck with the suctoin cup thing, the dents are too small.

There are some guys that use heat and cold to either shrink or expand the metal and repair the dents without having to repaint the dented area. You might see if there are any guys like that in your area.

I don't know how good a job you can do with bondo, but it will be the cheapest way to go.

good luck.

Look around in your area and see if there isnt someone who can knock the dents out for cheap. Theres a guy a city away from me who does hail damage at www.dentgenie.com. See if you can find someone like that around your area and talk to him. It'd save you money on bondo and they have tools to knock it out with making it worse.

First try one of the suction cup dent pullers. That will pop a lot of them back up, especially in the newer cars with lighter sheet metal.

I've heard of people using toilet plungers to pull out dents. Worth a try.
