Supreme Knowledge, you really do act like the stereotype of your race. You act like a damn fool...

No, Goodas, I wasn't saying that white people are stupid...

I was simply trying to insult Supreme Knowledge, he does act like that stereotype that all white people are racist and think they're better.

Of course I do. Stereotypes, as we know, are based partially on truth. It is true that many black people dance well. I dance well. It is true that many black people eat watermelon. I really like watermelon and fried chicken. I do not, however, commit crimes, have children by multiple men, rely on welfare, use food stamps, nor did I name my child something that nobody can spell.

The fact of the matter is that we need to develop ourselves the way we see fit. You see, I'm not just black, I'm an Alaska-girl! I like to hunt and fish. Like most Alaskans, when I'm back home, I wear my "good sweatshirt" to church. I helped my friends build their house from the ground up. I ski and I like to ride snowmobiles (we call them snow machines). I don't see things in terms of their blackness or whiteness, I see things in terms of my own preferences. I just say that we should define ourselves and be ourselves.

Let's not kid ourselves. Many stereotypes are way off the mark! Like how can being on welfare be a black stereotype when the vast majority on the system are not black-they are white!

Nope, not me.
The stereotype of black single mums is that they are loud, obnoxious, weave and acrylics up to the eyeballs, several babydaddies, lazy with no job, kiss their teeth, roll their eyes and have a serious attitude problem.
Im not that way at all. I work full time and I have 1 son. I do not 'bedhop', I do not go out raving every weekend and leave my child here there and everywhere, I do not shout, drink or smoke weed. I have respect for myself and others. I have my own shoulder length hair and my own nails.
Some people will follow the stereotype because its easier to be that way, but Id rather be different., but still be true to my race. Im a BLACK woman, not a N I G G ER, as Chris Rock put it properly.

stereotypes are around for a reason so I'm sure that I occasionally act out in a manner that could be stereotypical. I don't see why I wouldn't....I guess now that I think about it, I do meet that white guy stereotype of watching everything I say, because, god forbid, I might offend someone.

Well without really knowing what I am suppose to act like, I am not sure.
I am a white middle-aged women and I work in the casinos,I have been told by many minorities that I am not like others because I am real and funny and talk to everyone the same.
I don't shy away from talking to someone from a different country or race.I also laugh about myself and try to make people feel comfortable around me.

I represent the hidden stereotype of black men.

Strong, educated, well mannered, well behaved, a leader to all races, a real man that will care for his freinds family and people of all races regardless of color.

A brother in the dark times, and friend in the good times.

All of that without putting down other races like someone above clearly cannot do.

I do not know the difference between the English words stereotype and Culture. I guess I supposedly act Asian.

I try not to feed into that kind of stuff. I live in the hood, and if i have to get hood, then by golly, you bet i will. I try to act like a human being most of the time though.
