Yes normally ovulation occurs 10 to 14 days prior to your period but you can get pregnant anytime during the month. You may even have your first period during pergnancy.

Yes you can be pregnant and still have a period, though it is rare.

Menstruation usually stops when a woman is pregnant. However, in some cases, a woman might have a period with less blood or that lasts fewer days than usual and still be pregnant. Your confusion is understandable because these signs can lead women to believe they are not pregnant. However, various kinds of bleeding can occur in early pregnancy. Women can get some spotting in their first trimester:

* when the fertilized egg implants in the uterus;
* if the pregnancy is abnormal in any way [i.e., ectopic pregnancy (implantation outside of the uterus, such as in a fallopian tube), a threatening miscarriage]; or,
* from bleeding as part of their menstrual cycle (this is extremely rare).

if you have your period then no you arent gonna be pregnant because that means the sperm didnt reach the egg in time. a period is when the egg is being washed out when it doesnt get fertilized in a certain period of time. so if the sperm would reached the egg in time you wouldnt have your period like you are right now. your boobs would be bigger and your nose would be more sensitive and you wouldnt be bleeding. so dont worry, and the best way not to get pregnant is abstenence. the second best way is a condom. but you arent pregnant.

Simply take a pregnancy test.

If this is bleeding, and you are in fact pregnant, then a test will show POSITIVE.
