I have a new HP Desktop system with Windows Vista. I Have had it about 3 months. I just changed the batteries in the wireless keyboard because it was getting "sluggish" when I typed. Now the keyboard will not work at all. The batteries are new. They are in the correct way. I see the blue light at the back of the computer lighting up when I use the mouse but not when I use the keyboard. There is a blue button on the bottom of the keyboard that states: CONNECT. What is this for? I have pushed it, held it down, pushed it during boot-up, etc, etc. I can't find my instruction book and calling HP is like trying to call the President, it's impossible. Can anyone help me or offer any suggestions?

I pushed the "connect" button on the doohickey plugged into the USB port on the computer. Still nothing from the key board. I tried rebooting too. It just seems like there is no power and/or signal going to the keyboard what-so-ever. And all I did was replace the batteries. I tried putting the old ones back in too. Still nothing.
