Okay, so how much money a year do you think it takes to raise one child?

and if you want to, you can estimate for:

the first child about $45-50,000 Clothes, food medical, toys out of town trips to the see "rents"...keep doubling it for each child added....

And as my parents told me "There isn't enough money to raise you as long as you stay on the couch not helping."

actually, raising 1 child is the most expensive. After that the amount goes down with each additional chil as youo are reusing things like cribs, clothing, stroller, carseats and even things as they get older like electronics, cars, etc. Also, you don't buy a bigger house with each kid, you just double them up as you have more. That's why I had 3- SOoooo much cheaper- hahaha! Now I'm helping raise 3 grandkids, so I've been paying for children for 33 years! Oh, when will it end...
