Tuf it out. U should just try to make friends; ur going to transfer out next year any way. Its not like u lost ur old friends. So, stick it out, make new friends, and try to have good time.
-and listen to Gabriella4 about joining clubs, its a great way to meet new people.

Join clubs you're interested in, because more than likely, you'll find people who share the same interest as you. It's going to be awkward for the first little while, but as yo uget used to high school, you'll be more calm and socializing may be easier. Give it about three more months. If nothing changes by then, or if matters get worse, then switch. But for now, do well at school and aim for good grades. I know how you feel - entering Gr. 9 I wore orthodontic head gear. It was like a wire mask that went around my face. It was bright blue too! =P I have it off now, though, but even when I still had it, I made friends because I made an effort to talk to people, no matter how uncomfortable it was. Just hang tough, you'll make it.

Try getting involved in your school and joining some clubs and teams, you are bound to find people similar to you there. Talk to a guidance counselor at your school about how you're feeling and see if there is anyway that they can help you. If all of the above fails or you still feel the need to transfer then by all means go for it. Best of luck

If you feel like this then you are an obviously sensitive and intelligent person. Concentrate on your grades. It§s money in the bank. Let everyone else fit in. Stand out, sunshine.
