not being able to enjoy the little things with a significant other. like holding hands at the fair or sharing a bowl of dip n dots.

Um.... well being single has its ups and downs. Good part is, you have your own space and can kind of do what you want. You don't have to worry about talking to people when you come in from work all tired and cranky if you don't feel like it, or having to talk to someone about where you're going and so on.
But the downside is..... it gets kinda boring not having someone to do stuff with on the weekends or whenever. And times where you get really bored knowing most people are out having a good time and you're by yourself.... doing squat lol. I'd say that's the worst part... being bored to tears some days.

For me it's a couple things most wouldn't think of along with the obvious. I'd love to be able to cuddle at night, share my day and hear about her's, whether good or bad. Having someone next to me at night is also missed. I like to help my loved one and be an encouragement and just to be there for them, and the hugs, I miss the hugs & kisses.
Being single though I do enjoy being able to come and go as I please eat what and when I want.Now the big one, I can leave the toilet seat up if I so wish without hearing about it.

i'm in a relationship and its complicated and complicated. So there are lots of days once I actually have a foul temper. :/ Being single is cool and, I recommend, you're unfastened! nonetheless, its continuously effective to appreciate that somebody likes you returned! :)

Hi Snow White......it's when I'm lonely and the phone isn't ringing, the comp. wont do. B.O.B. is worn out...that when I climb into my bed at night...it can be lonely sometimes. Oh, and I want to smell him next to me. (not my ex!) but that smell that is musky and manly and safety resonates from his being to your shaky heart. ahhhhh love, where fort art thou?

When you really like someone but are too shy to say it. Or if you don't know if they like you. That can suck. I think in general, being single but wanting someone probably sucks. Or the want to not be single...
