It would help to have info about your tank/water parameters.

Do you test your water regularly (or have your store do this for you)? That's one of the first things to look at. You should have ammonia and nitrite = 0 (ideally in a matured tank, or less than 0.5 ppm in a tank that's still cycling). Nitrate should be less than 20 ppm (even lower is better). Your pH should be 8.2-8.4, salinity 1.024-1.026 (for inverts), and temperature should be less than 84o (under 80o would be better).

If you meet all these, what other animals do you have in the tank? You may have fish or sea stars (starfish) that aren't reef safe that are making meals of these. Do you have live rock in the tank? Any chance of a mantis shrimp hiding in there?

What's your filtration/circulation system like? Do you use a strong enough filter and/or powerheads to circulate oxygenated water throughout the tank? As water gets warmer, it holds less oxygen, so did you notice if these were spending more time around the top of the tank (where the oxygen content would be greater) before they died?

Just some possibilities of what may have happened.
