Joey, I hope that wherever you are, you didn't hear me laugh when I read your question. I meant no disrespect, but gosh, Joey, it's an adorable question! Thanks!

Wheels rely on friction to provide propulsion. There is not enough matter in the space surrounding planet Earth to provide such friction.

There is no up or down in space. It is an environment controlled by gravitational forces. Objects in space are set into motion by the laws of conservation of angular momentum. This motion is affected not by wheels but by gravity. Forces of gravity determine how fast and in what direction Earth moves. These forces do not just govern Earth, but how our Sun travels around the galaxy and how our galaxy travels through space.

Moving of earth is space is different than a vehicle moving on wheels. Wheels are used to reduce friction and the energy is supplied by the combustion engine.

The earth is moving because of force of attraction by the sun. The earth has two movements: It completes its elliptical orbit around sun in 365 days; it also rotates on its axis in 24 hrs. The sun attraction is balanced by rotational movement, otherwise it will be gobbled by sun in no time.

The rotational energy was obtained when earth was created 4 billion years ago by a powerful passing-by star. It continues the rotation for so many years without reducing rotational speed because there is no friction in space (which is in vacuum state).

How do you walk without wheels? How do birds fly without wheels? Not everything needs wheels to move forward.

The purpose of a wheel is to reduce friction. Space is mostly vacuum, so the Earth does not encounter any friction while moving through space. It does not need wheels.

There is no friction between Space and Earth, so there is no need for wheels.

The earth is one big wheel. Why else do you think it rotates?

because of inertia

the combination of gravity and inertia keep the solar system together

~gravity keeps the planets from flying out into space

~inertia keeps the planets moving in a straight line
