I noticed... at school.. in class... on the bus... all the black girls always are 1. putting on lotion 2. asking if anyone has any lotion....

I mean.. im white and i almost never use lotion....

Does their skin type require a lot of moisture and lotion? Or is it some bizarre thing only at my school?

Black people generally have drier skin than other races so it's only natural that we use a lot of lotion.

I think from reading some of the answers you have hurt some feelings. I have no problem as someone who moved to London 10 years ago and white lets just say there are a lot of stereo typing about black people using a lot of cosmetics to change their appearance. What gets me is its so right but the men also. I am white and shave every day and use lotion. I did think it was a good question you bitchyness. Will someone please give an honest answer instead of jumping up and down. Stop being so over the top or is this a stereo typing.

I know same here LMAO Everyday they're always asking for lotion I simply avoid this problem by wearing pants or actually keep lotion in my backpack .Yea But I wouldn't want to be ashy at school thats just degrading

Now that you've brought this to my attention I'm going to burst out laughing on the bus when they ask for lotion

If you are some type of scientist or a doctor, which you are not, then it's none of your business.
