i just finished watching Air and i cried like a baby!!! its was amazing!!! elfen lied was also amazing! and i cired at the end too. so is there any more sad depressing anime that i can watch?

Watch Kanon 2006. It was done by the same people who did Air, and it is probably my favorite, and one of the saddest series that I have ever seen.

PS. If you watch Kanon, and enjoy that as well, be aware that a new series is coming out soon called Clannad. I don't know if it will be sad yet like Air and Kanon, but it will be made by the same company again (Kyoto Animation), and it should be something you keep an eye out for.

The ones I cried the most on was Wolf's Rain, Cowboy Bebop, Samurai 7, Last Exile, and Eureka Seven(but that is in no way depressing, im just a sucker for great endings)
But the top four are right up your ally. They left me feeling depressed and crying for days.

Darker than Black is the only anime I almost cried to, though I'm not sure when the DVD will come out or when it will brocast on television.
Screw Elfen Lied. Welcome to NHK is the most depressing yet.
Rozen Maiden is also abit sad, but also hopeful.

Depend on how involved you get with anime.
I cried during the Nuriko scene in Fushigi Yugi.
Also cried when Kikyo fell off the side of the cliff in Inu Yasha...then I stopped watching the series. :P
Grave of the Fireflies is one of the saddest anime's ever.

I hate sad unless there's a happy ending!
Karin (chibi vampire) is funny but it also has a lot of sad scenes, particularly with Karin's little sister Anju and her Grandmother Elda. But - if you don't mind me giving the ending away - it all ends happily.

FRUIT BASCKET... very funny ,,,,, but it will make you cry too.... you will fall in love with this anime... heart warming anime..
